Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority

EECA

EVisi is pleased to announce that we have been awarded support from the 9th round of the NZ Government’s Low Emission Vehicles Contestable Fund, administered by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA). Our project has being part-funded by 45% which makes a big difference to our business.

The LEVF funding will assist EVisi Group to develop and test optimisation algorithms to optimise fleet EV charger operations to minimise local network demand charges by reducing fleet charger demand peaks. The software service project aims to ensure that all charger connected vehicles are charged to their daily required ‘state of charge’ by specified time within transformer and other operational constraints. This project is in partnership with University of Auckland.

The fund is one of a range of initiatives in the Government’s Electric Vehicles Programme, which aims to accelerate the uptake of electric vehicles (EV’s) in New Zealand.
